About the role

This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, CA. The Investment Banking Senior Associate is responsible for leading complex financial analyses and valuation exercises, building and reviewing detailed financial models, and preparing client presentations and marketing materials. The role involves managing day-to-day deal execution, including coordinating due diligence processes, supporting negotiations, and maintaining communication with clients and counterparties.

  • Conduct industry and company research, comparable company and transaction analyses.

  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Contribute to business development efforts.
  • Maintain high-quality standards in client deliverables.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years minimum investment banking experience.
  • Strong finance and valuation skills, including experience in corporate finance and investment banking.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to build and interpret complex models.
  • Hands-on experience with due diligence processes, including data analysis and risk assessment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Prior experience in technology-focused investment banking, private equity, or corporate development strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative working style.
