About the Role

The Private Capital Solutions group at Guggenheim is responsible for originating, structuring, and distributing privately negotiated financing solutions for global corporations, financial institutions, and infrastructure projects. The team also advises private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real estate managers on a variety of secondary solutions inclusive of continuation vehicles and annex funds. This role sits within a team specializing in minority equity raises, including senior common and preferred equity raises for growth equity, dividend recapitalization, and acquisition financing purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key deal team member for execution of a broad range of advisory and financing transactions; interact with senior bankers, clients, and other advisors during drafting, working, and negotiating sessions.
  • Analyze industry and company-specific information, including detailed research and analysis of global institutional investors.
  • Conduct research and analysis in the Private Capital markets (private equity, growth equity, etc.).
  • Prepare analysis on institutional investors including growth equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, and alternative asset managers.
  • Track market data to assist the group’s communications with clients and industry coverage teams.
  • Work closely with industry teams as needed to support successful deal completion.
  • Monitor overall execution and book-building of private capital offerings.
  • Perform financial analysis of financing alternatives and term sheet proposals from investors.
  • Manage coordination and drafting of marketing materials, including pitches, term sheets, and market updates.
  • Prepare related client and Board presentation materials.
  • Actively participate in meetings and videoconferences with issuer clients and investors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 2+ years of investment banking experience.
  • Core modeling and PowerPoint experience in a professional setting.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Knowledge of and strong passion for global capital markets including growth equity, structured/preferred equity, special situations, and ESG/infrastructure.

Required FINRA Licenses: Series 7, 24, 63 & 79.

Pay

Annual base salary between $125,000 and $175,000. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.

Schedule

This role is expected to be in the New York office at least 4 days a week.
