About the role

As an Analyst in the Consumer Group, you will work on corporate finance engagements, including M&A, capital raising, fairness opinions, and strategic advisory assignments. The Consumer Group is the No. 1 consumer M&A team in the United States, having completed over 135 deals globally in 2021 and 2022. You will support transaction teams with financial analysis, valuations, and the preparation of key deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and explain financial information for companies and their industry peers.
• Perform valuations using traditional methodologies (DCF, trading comps, transaction comps).
• Draft confidential offering memorandums, management presentations, buyers lists, marketing pitches, and other client-facing materials.
• Assist in the marketing and planning of engagements on a limited basis.

Requirements

• Prior investment banking internship experience.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Undergraduate coursework in accounting and finance.
• Strong analytical capabilities and a fundamental understanding of valuation theory and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff.

Pay

The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role is $110,000. Actual salary at the time of hire may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
