About the role

Piper Sandler is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join our Healthcare – Pharma Services team in Minneapolis, MN or New York, NY. We are looking for candidates with 1-2 years of Investment Banking experience at the associate level or other relevant work experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling, and a highly motivated, team-player attitude with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Work on M&A transactions
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Provide financial analysis and support for deals
  • Contribute to the development of pitch books and other marketing materials
  • Support deal execution and post-deal integration

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Investment Banking experience at the associate level or other relevant work experience
  • Experience with M&A transactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling
  • Highly motivated, team player with strong attention to detail and an ability to learn in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or FRM are a plus

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Pay

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $135,000 - $225,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience.
