Investment Banking ECM Analyst

About the role

The Equity Capital Markets team at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is seeking an Analyst for our New York office. This position offers a high level of responsibility and extensive access to senior management and clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare client pitch materials and complex financial models
• Evaluate current and historical market data to support recommendations to clients
• Support Equity, SPAC and Convertibles transactions across all of Oppenheimer’s core coverage sectors
• Research and maintain team databases
• Manage the execution of equity and equity-linked offerings and communicate with the client’s Management team and key external parties
• Participate in various marketing and recruiting activities of the firm

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of full-time work experience
• Sales driven mentality with a strong capital markets acumen
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Elevated attention to detail and consistency in work product
• Strong work ethic and team player
• Equity, SPAC or Convertibles experience preferred
• Dealogic, Ipreo, CapIQ, FactSet, PlacementTracker, Bloomberg, MS Office suite knowledge strongly preferred
• FINRA Registrations: SIE, Series 63, Series 79 licenses required at time of hiring or shortly thereafter

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
