Piper Sandler is looking for an Investment Banking Associate to join our Healthcare B2B MedTech and Outsourced Life Sciences team in Minneapolis, MN. The B2B MedTech and Outsourced Life Sciences team is primarily a sector focused M&A team with significant market share and deal velocity. Responsibilities

Our investment banking group partners with corporate clients and financial sponsors to provide advisory and financing services related to mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, private placements, restructuring and corporate & venture services. We offer in-depth knowledge and industry relationships in our core sectors of chemicals, consumer, diversified industrials & services, energy & power, financial services, healthcare and technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, business, economics, or other related degrees
• Investment banking / MedTech sector experience preferred but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop internal and external relationships
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling
• Highly motivated, team player with strong attention to detail and an ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel: This position requires travel up to 25% of the time. Travel may include local / domestic / international trips for client meetings, facility tours, company events, conferences, and professional development. Most travel will be scheduled in advance, but occasional short-notice trips may be required
• The B2B MedTech and Outsourced Life Sciences team has a long track record of career development, progression, and retention; candidates should be seeking a long-term career in investment banking

Pay

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $175,000 - $225,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.
