Investment Banking Associate – Global Fund Placement & Advisory

Responsibilities

• Leading day-to-day fundraising mandate execution involving direct client interaction
• Preparing client presentations, drafting offering memoranda, preparing internal committee memoranda and preparing other materials for senior FPA bankers as required
• Oversight of the updating and maintenance of investor background information and client-specific communication on a daily basis via the CRM
• Distribution coverage of a number of qualified US institutional investors
• Supporting the management and execution of investor due diligence processes (RFIs)
• Supporting the management and coordination of client roadshows
• Supporting prospective client searches and due diligence for mandate origination
• Assessing industry research and trends

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of industry experience related to investment banking or private equity, ideally in a placement firm focused on buyout and growth equity strategies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency in work product
• Strong work ethic and team player
• Organized and proactive
• Series 63, 79 FINRA licenses and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam required at time of hiring or shortly thereafter

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
