Investment Banking Analyst - Private Funds Group

About the role

The Private Funds Group is an integral team within Aviditi Advisors, a premier independent advisory firm that provides comprehensive, tailored solutions throughout an alternative investment manager’s lifecycle. Since inception in 2020, Aviditi has advised on over $30 billion in transaction volume.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting prospective managers, including conducting analysis on performance, portfolio companies, marketability, etc.
• Designing go-to-market strategies
• Making presentations and positioning of an alternative investment product
• Preparing marketing materials
• Executing post-launch tasks alongside the relationship management team
• Collaborating with our Capital Solutions and Secondary Capital Advisory teams to deliver full-life cycle, strategic advisors to clients
• Conducting ad hoc projects and other work as assigned

Qualifications

• At least one full year of experience at a placement agent
• An undergraduate degree from a top-tier school
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, including Excel modeling and valuation
• Very strong technology skills with exceptional Excel and PowerPoint
• Outstanding written and verbal skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and have the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information
• Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented, organized, proactive, intellectual curiosity, and an ability to thrive in a high energy, dynamic environment
• Outstanding ethics, integrity, and judgment

• FINRA SIE, 7, 63 and 79 licenses or willingness to obtain

Pay

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $125,000 - $135,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location and other factors.

Schedule

This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.
