The firm advises privately held businesses, family-owned companies, entrepreneurs, and financial sponsors on mergers & acquisitions, capital raising transactions, business valuations, and strategic financial matters across a variety of industries. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with senior bankers and clients on live transactions while developing core investment banking, valuation, and financial modeling skills in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed financial models, valuations, and merger analyses.
- Perform company, industry, and market research.
- Prepare financial presentations, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), pitch books, management presentations, and other transaction materials.
- Assist with due diligence processes and data room management.
- Support buy-side and sell-side M&A transaction execution.
- Analyze financial statements, business performance, and key operating metrics.
- Identify and evaluate strategic and financial buyers, acquisition targets, and capital providers.
- Participate in client meetings, management presentations, and transaction discussions.
- Collaborate with senior bankers to deliver exceptional service and execution for clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field with a strong academic record.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, valuation, transaction advisory, corporate finance, public accounting, or related financial services.
- Strong understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience building three-statement financial models and performing valuation analyses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated work ethic, professionalism, and desire to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting M&A transactions.
- Exposure to discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
- CPA, CFA, or progress toward a relevant professional designation is a plus.

Pay
Base: $70k - $100k
Bonus: ~30% - 70%
