Investment Banking Analyst

About the role

IMan Investment is expanding its cross-border advisory capabilities and is hiring an Investment Banking Analyst in New York. You will support live M&A, strategic financing and cross-border transaction workstreams connecting North America and Asia Pacific clients. This role is designed for analytically strong professionals who want intensive deal exposure, rigorous training and collaboration with senior bankers across New York and Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain valuation materials including DCF, trading comps and precedent transactions
• Prepare pitch books, confidential information memoranda and management presentation materials
• Support due diligence coordination, data-room organisation and buyer/seller Q&A processes
• Perform industry research and financial analysis for active mandates and new business pitches
• Assist with process management across NDAs, teasers, management meetings and bid tracking
• Collaborate with Hong Kong colleagues on cross-border Asia–US transaction workflows
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, formatting and turnaround under deal timelines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering or a related quantitative field
• 0–3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, PE/VC or Big Four transaction services
• Strong Excel modelling and PowerPoint skills; prior IB internship experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to work long hours during live processes with composure and precision
• Interest in cross-border M&A and Asia–US corporate activity
• Mandarin language ability is a plus but not required
