Investment Advisor I - IAM

About the role

Supports the management of accounts in accordance with investment objectives that have been developed with the client. Delivers the PNC investment experience to clients by providing actionable advice, market insight, and reporting on investment results. May be responsible for maintaining and growing assets under management. Actively participates in the sales efforts of the business through the introduction and expansion of financial services to the client. Supports the execution of risk management practices through adherence to PNC's policies and procedures.

Employees must also assess and effectively manage risks associated with their business objectives to ensure adherence to PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of client accounts in alignment with investment objectives.
• Deliver actionable advice, market insights, and investment reporting to clients.
• Contribute to maintaining and growing assets under management.
• Participate in sales efforts to introduce and expand financial services for clients.
• Adhere to PNC’s risk management policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Typically requires a university/college degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
• Preferred skills: Accountability, Budget Management, Competitive Advantages, Decision Making, Finance Strategy, Financial Modeling, Investment Management, Relationship Management.
• Key competencies: Client Relationship Management, Decision Making and Critical Thinking, Effective Communications, Investment Consulting, Investment Reporting, Portfolio Management, Products and Services, Value Selling.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• No required certifications or licenses.
