Responsibilities

  • Support the Director with delivering each client’s personalized CAISSA Investment experience.
  • Summarize portfolios, positions, and investments in creative ways to present to wealth advisors and clients.
  • Develop and manage investment policies for clients, calculate income Tranches and review target allocations.
  • Affirm and manage investment trades and rebalancing activities, ensuring client allocation settings are accurately maintained within the trade rebalancer system.
  • Conduct manager due diligence and integrate external vendor due diligence insights into monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reviews.
  • Oversee and maintain data integrity across reporting and trading system.
  • Summarize and document investment decisions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop policies and procedures to improve trading and portfolio construction quality, efficiency, and client outcomes.
  • Stay current on market trends and regulatory changes affecting investment strategies.
  • Work closely with the operations team to audit and ensure accurate reporting and back-end processes are implemented.
  • Ensure new client onboarding is implemented and coordinated properly across CRM, Tamarac, Rebalancer, etc.
  • Own the held-away asset workflow and custody procedures.
  • Maintain daily workflows and promptly identify and assign actions to responsible parties.
  • Continuously improve processes and tools for enhanced efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Investment portfolio management experience of 5+ years.
  • Experience in Tamarac and/or a similar performance software platform.
  • Capable of explaining complex financial topics to a non-financial audience.
  • Expert in portfolio analytics, attribution, portfolio construction.
  • Proficient in portfolio analytics, attribution, portfolio construction.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint, programming knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and open to learning.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting or related field.
  • Financial professional designation or working towards one.
