Responsibilities
- Review assignments to establish case objectives and develop action plans
- Utilize surveillance equipment and technology for indoor and outdoor activities
- Perform surveillance, document footage, and gather relevant information
- Drive safely in various conditions, maintaining discretion and efficiency
- Maintain confidentiality, adhere to legal and ethical standards
- Prepare detailed reports with timestamps and supporting evidence
- Adapt to changing situations and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Attend and testify at hearings as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with accountability for results
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and good driving record
- Proficient with surveillance equipment, smartphones, computers, and internet
- Flexibility to travel daily and work varied hours
Preferred Experience
- High school diploma or associate’s degree in criminal justice or related field
- Military, insurance, or investigative background
