Investigator

Responsibilities

• Review assignments, develop or follow action plans
• Utilize surveillance equipment and technology
• Perform indoor and outdoor surveillance, document footage and activities
• Drive safely in varied conditions, maintaining discretion and confidentiality
• Prepare detailed reports with timestamps and supporting evidence
• Adapt to changing circumstances and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Attend and testify at hearings as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Critical thinking skills and accountability
• Flexible schedule, including weekends
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proper insurance
• Completion of Florida’s 40-hour CC licensing course or Class C license required
• Proficient with surveillance equipment, smartphones, computers, and internet

Preferred

• High school diploma or associate’s degree in criminal justice or related field
• Military, insurance, or investigation experience
