This position is a regulatory role ensuring the racino operates in compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, laws, and standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Work in a regulatory capacity to ensure racino compliance with statutory and administrative provisions.
- Respond to on-site incidents, complete reports, and maintain a compliance database for suspicious activity, unusual incidents, and other reportable events.
- Conduct background investigations on racino employees.
- Facilitate the licensing process for racino gaming employees.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons and racino staff.
- Congratulate jackpot winners and observe the Intercept process for winners, creating Intercept Accounts as needed.
- Assist patrons in enrolling in the Time Out Ohio Program and provide program information.
- Use surveillance equipment to ensure proper coverage of all Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) in the facility.
- Monitor the floor Drop and VLT floor moves to ensure compliance with established procedures.
- Receive incoming VLTs, verify shipping security seals, serial numbers, machine descriptions, and manufacturer names.
- Verify VLTs to be removed, confirming manufacturer names and serial numbers.
- Collaborate as a team player to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Learn and use Lottery-specific software applications for daily responsibilities.
- Perform other duties and work on special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 30 months of training or 30 months of investigative experience relevant to the type of complaints and alleged violations described in the job posting; valid driver’s license.
- OR completion of an associate core program in law enforcement, criminal justice, or a related academic field, plus 12 months of experience conducting investigations and/or inspections; valid driver’s license.
- OR 30 months of training or experience as an Investigator Assistant (26210) with experience relevant to the job posting; valid driver’s license.
- OR equivalent of the minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
