About the role
The New York City Business Integrity Commission (BIC) seeks an Investigator to enforce BIC regulations and conduct investigations related to the trade waste industry and public wholesale markets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct truck inspections and enforce BIC regulations
- Stop commercial vehicles and conduct inspections
- Examine documentation and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Handle various investigations, including theft and customer complaints
- Generate reports on all investigations
- Document vehicle inspections in a Salesforce database
Requirements
- A four-year high school diploma or equivalent and two years of satisfactory, full-time experience as an investigator
- An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college
- Education and/or experience equivalent to "1" or "2" above
