Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate Global OEM service activity, including the collection and reporting of quality data.
- Create and/or request Return Material Authorizations (RMA).
- Oversee and coordinate requests for material repair at the Global Repair Center.
- May maintain records and develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method.
- Works within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
- Verifies warranty entitlement (either through internal databases or directly with vendors).
- Coincide outgoing RMA/RGA (Return Material/Goods Authorization) activity between BDB affiliate/user and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
- Maintain and report material failure analysis data for Quality trending.
- Monitor and report on OEM Service Levels (i.e., Cycle Time).
- Monitor and report on applicable financial-related activity (i.e., logistic costs, material savings, etc.).
- Coordinate/review return of Replacement/repairs material to originator (affiliate).
- Assist with other Service Administration roles as required (e.g., Service Supply Chain coordination).
- Keeps abreast of the basic requirements for regulatory compliance in own area of work and complies with those requirements.
- Participates in training on regulatory issues affecting own area of work.
- Follows Company Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.
- Takes responsibility for safety in immediate work area.
- Notifies supervisor of all observed hazardous conditions or unsafe work practices.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
- Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses/training/certifications, as needed.
- Has basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
