About the role

Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. This includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management, as well as demand, supply, and manufacturing planning. Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning, customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment, expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (overtime per business needs).

Responsibilities

  • Researches and resolves count variances to ensure accurate inventory records and identify potential areas of improvement in the process.
  • Communicates daily with clients via email to ensure all questions and concerns are addressed.
  • Audits and verifies all inbound receipt documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Processes inventory moves and adjustments per client request.
  • Works with all operational and business departments to ensure efficiency and accuracy for all daily and weekly tasks, including all KPIs.
  • Participates in and runs client inventory audits.
  • Flexibility to be on-call to support weekend operations.
  • Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience.
  • Customer service experience, preferred.
  • High school degree or GED preferred.
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for entire shift.

Pay

Anticipated hourly range: $19.00 per hour - $19.60 per hour. Bonus eligible: No.

The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills, and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
