About the role
This position manages and controls product inventory in a warehouse fulfillment center, performing cycle counts, inventory adjustments, replenishments, and resolving overstock and damage issues while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Control
- Perform cycle counts of products using computer system-generated reports.
- Audit product locations to verify item accuracy, count, and expiration dating.
- Identify and correct inventory errors; set up and adjust storage locations.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and make necessary adjustments in the system.
- Edit customer invoices to remove unavailable items.
- Alert supervisors to product non-conformances (e.g., new packaging, wrong count, damage, shortages).
- Maintain clear fulfillment center aisles and storage location integrity.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with DEA, OSHA, FDA, EPA, BoP, and local/state agencies.
- Replenishment
- Assess replenished pick locations for proper restock settings in the computer system.
- Match product transfers to pick location labels for accuracy.
- Cycle count locations to verify on-hand quantities match reports.
- Overstock and Damages
- Update overstock location placards or labels to reflect quantity changes.
- Communicate with vendors, PLSI Liaison, and procurement to resolve vendor discrepancies.
- Work with the vendor returns team to obtain return POs and update the warehouse management system.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Determine disposition of damaged product to approved charities.
- Alert supervisors to product non-conformances.
- Returns
- Process returned merchandise from customers or vendors from start to finish.
- Collaborate with Sales Reps to ensure proper processing of customer returns.
- Work with Sales Managers and the Vendor Returns Department to secure vendor reimbursements.

- Perform all work in accordance with company safety guidelines and regulatory compliance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient and accurate PC/keyboarding skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office Productivity Suite (Excel, Word) and email.
- Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
- Comprehensive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and productivity goals.
Physical and Cognitive Demands
- Frequent self/kneeling and stooping.
- Frequent ascending/descending (e.g., stairs/ladder).
- Frequent hand/eye coordination.
- Frequent movement/traversing within the warehouse.
- Frequent stationary positions (standing and seated).
Travel Requirements
This position requires no travel outside the local area.
