About the role

As an Inventory Professional, you will efficiently and accurately manage supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels. You will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory, performing counts, reconciling discrepancies, processing orders, and utilizing management systems. Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory software are crucial for operational efficiency and cost control.

Responsibilities

  • Distribute medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas while monitoring par levels for specific products to ensure appropriate stock levels and uninterrupted patient care.
  • Use an automated inventory control and par leveling system for ordering, receiving, and stocking/restocking medical supplies and equipment under supply chain management.
  • Restock supplies daily, rotate inventory, and generate orders or requisitions as needed to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Participate in the put-away and validation process of perpetual inventory items; issue and credit materials from the inventory management system.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs by adjusting par levels, reorder points, min/max thresholds, and reducing holding costs.
  • Identify excess inventory, return stock, and process credits.

Requirements

  • One year of supply chain-related experience or other relevant experience.
  • One year of work experience as an Inventory Tech (or equivalent), or any combination of experience and education demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position.

$22.68 - $36.47 per hour
