Inventory Tech

About the role

As an Inventory Professional, you will efficiently and accurately manage supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels. You will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory, performing counts, reconciling discrepancies, processing orders, and utilizing management systems. Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory software are crucial for operational efficiency and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products to assure appropriate levels are established without affecting patient care.
• Uses an automated inventory control and par leveling system for the ordering, receiving, and stocking/restocking of medical supplies/equipment under supply chain management.
• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory to support accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed.
• Participates in the put-away and validation process of perpetual inventory items; issues and credits materials from the inventory management system.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce costs through manipulation of par levels, reorder points/min/max, and reduction of holding costs.
• Identifies excess inventory, returning stock, and processing credits.

Requirements

• One year of supply chain-related experience or other relevant experience.
• For Lead roles: One year of work experience as an Inventory Tech (or equivalent), or any combination of experience or education demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Pay

$22.68 - $36.47 per hour.
