Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a team responsible for receiving, pick-and-pack operations, deliveries, and vault functions.
- Ensure daily and weekly cycle counts and audits are completed in compliance with SOPs.
- Maintain control over facility vaults and storage areas, logging receipts, and ensuring accurate inventory accounts.
- Design and implement inventory tracking systems to enhance control and efficiency.
- Analyze data to anticipate future inventory needs and address discrepancies with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Carefully coordinate manufacturing requirements to fulfill customer orders while adhering to quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Support cannabis production processes, including managing by-products and eliminating waste.
- Work closely with Finance, Cultivation, Production, the Lab, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless inventory operations.
- Partner with State and Private testing labs to secure testing slots and manage accurate chain-of-custody paperwork.
- Prepare weekly and monthly high-level reports for upper management.
- Ensure inventory levels at dispensaries are appropriate by collaborating with Dispensary Managers.
Requirements
- Ace’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of 3 years in supply chain or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous supervisory experience managing at least 3 direct reports.
- Familiarity with auditing processes and warehouse/inventory control software systems.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
