Inventory Supervisor
About the role
The Inventory Supervisor supervises conformity of deliveries, prepares deliveries according to incoming orders, realizes expeditions, qualifies and follows return flow (default, transport return, wrong choice…), realizes inventories, informs internal customers about the stocks. Plans, organizes, and supervises daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, safety, and distribution of equipment and supplies. Maintains inventory records, prepares reports, and ensures effective warehouse performance and inventory control. Monitors and maintains safety stocks for critical and non-critical items. Manages slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete items by coordinating with operations and recommending strategies to reduce them. Identifies safety stocks for replenishment and prepares inventory reports. Collaborates with the Purchasing department to maintain adequate stock levels. Establishes and updates warehouse policies and procedures. Ensures compliance by rolling out the latest warehouse procedures to all departments.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in procurement, inventory management or business related field
- In lieu of degree requirement, may accept an equivalent amount of additional related work experience
- One year of prior inventory management/supply chain experience required
- Effective communication with top management, facility managers and field operators
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in auditing industrial management systems
- Experience in auditing ISO 9001 and other quality related management systems
- Experience in auditing HSE related International Standards (ISO 14001, ISO45001 etc)
- Proficient in Google suite applications and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
- A demonstrated ability to utilize financial applications within ERP software (i.e. SAP, Oracle)
- Prior experience in the bulk/gas industry preferred
