Inventory Specialist with Service Now tool (Onsite)

Location: Folsom, CA

Shift: Regular Day Shift, Monday–Friday (100% onsite)

Responsibilities

• Manage materials including Test Measurement Equipment, Pre-Production Hardware (Boards, Silicon, HV/PIP, VEET), Computers, Servers, and Consumables.
• Handle shipping, receiving, and tracking of materials, including check-in/out to end users.
• Search for material reuse within the lab.
• Move packages and equipment around the lab and campus.
• Label materials with 2D/3D barcodes, RFID tags, and custom labels.
• Maintain accuracy of tracking systems for materials management.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure data accuracy and identify underutilized materials.
• Prepare physical materials for end-of-life: remove from tracking databases, wipe/sanitize confidential information, and perform basic decontamination (e.g., battery and water removal).
• Dispose of and recycle materials per corporate requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory storage in warehouse and lab, including disposal/recycling of packing materials.
• Use tools such as barcode scanners, label printers, packing machines, motorized shelving, and electronic storage lockers.
• Operate software applications including Word, Excel, label printing software, and internal tools (ISMP, VortexWombat).
• Lift objects up to 35 lbs and use moving equipment (carts, dolly, hand trucks, mechanical lift).

Requirements

• Experience in Inventory and Materials Management.
• Good knowledge of ServiceNow tool usage.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions clearly.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute daily.

Individual pay is determined by work location, job level, and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
