Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and issue raw materials, parts, details, and hardware to support shop operations.
- Organize and store parts and materials in bins, drawers, and racks, clearly identifying parts and storage locations.
- Adhere to strict material handling practices and procedures.
- Perform picking and kitting functions to assemble required kits of parts, materials, and hardware, ensuring all items are available and accounted for.
- Inspect incoming materials for conformance to accompanying paperwork, verifying condition, part numbers, quantities, and revisions.
- Issue materials per approved documentation, including applying verification and traceability markings to serialized parts; validate lot traceability.
- Comply with all procedures, desk instructions, and standard operating documents.
- Maintain shelf-life items and maintain proper stock rotation (FIFO).
- Support organizational metrics, goals, and objectives.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area.
- Conduct cycle counts.
- A high school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of inventory control experience
- 3+ years of inventory control experience in a warehouse
- Experience and understanding of inventory and kitting processes
- Experience operating a forklift and other related inventory equipment
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic fields
- ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- A bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain management
