Inventory Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of inventory control including receiving, put-away, cycle counts, and reconciliation
• Operate and maintain our advanced inventory management system (Fishbowl Inventory/NetSuite WMS)
• Conduct daily cycle counts and quarterly physical inventories to ensure 99%+ accuracy
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis
• Generate detailed reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and shrinkage
• Cook up with purchasing, warehouse operations, and logistics teams to optimize stock levels
• Implement and maintain best practices for warehouse organization and SKU management
• Utilize barcode scanning systems and RFID technology for real-time tracking
• Train warehouse staff on proper inventory handling procedures

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management
• Proficiency with modern WMS platforms (Fishbowl, NetSuite, SAP WM, or Manhattan SCALE)
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities
• Experience conducting cycle counts and physical inventories
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) certification
• Experience with RFID and automated inventory systems
• Forklift certification
