Inventory Specialist

Summary

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting warehouse and production operations, and driving accountability through data analysis and process improvement.

• Supports warehouse and production operations
• Drives accountability through data analysis and process improvement
• Owns and coordinates cycle count processes
• Supports year-end inventory activities
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies
• Supports rework processes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Participates in shift hand-offs and communicates key updates for operational continuity
• Provides guidance and accountability for proper material handling and process adherence
• Acts as backup support for off-shift operations and escalates issues as needed

Requirements

• Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be capable of working independently, setting priorities and remaining flexible
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory systems (NetSuite, RFSmart preferred)

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred
• Experience in inventory, warehouse, or manufacturing environments preferred

Communication Skills

• Able to manage complex and time sensitive projects to the satisfaction of different groups
• High initiative in problem solving
• Excellent communication skills

Supervisory

• The position supervises a complete function versus supervision of people

Travel

• Approximate 0-1% travel required
• Must have ability to tour facilities and grounds
