Summary
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting warehouse and production operations, and driving accountability through data analysis and process improvement.
- Supports warehouse and production operations
- Drives accountability through data analysis and process improvement
- Owns and coordinates cycle count processes
- Supports year-end inventory activities
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies
- Supports rework processes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participates in shift hand-offs and communicates key updates for operational continuity
- Provides guidance and accountability for proper material handling and process adherence
- Acts as backup support for off-shift operations and escalates issues as needed
Requirements

- Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be capable of working independently, setting priorities and remaining flexible
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory systems (NetSuite, RFSmart preferred)
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred
- Experience in inventory, warehouse, or manufacturing environments preferred
Communication Skills
- Able to manage complex and time sensitive projects to the satisfaction of different groups
- High initiative in problem solving
- Excellent communication skills
Supervisory
- The position supervises a complete function versus supervision of people
Travel
- Approximate 0-1% travel required
- Must have ability to tour facilities and grounds
