About the role
The Inventory Specialist at Copart is responsible for managing the inventory of all vehicles at the facility, ensuring compliance with company timelines and standards.
Responsibilities
- Document vehicle condition using company-provided tools and complete inventory and supporting photographs.
- Direct the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory.
- Facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs.
- Maintain the receiving area, operate camera systems, and utilize handheld inventory devices to process incoming vehicles.
- Determine the operational capability of motor vehicles and complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) as required.
- Maintain inventory of all materials used.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
- General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency, including operation of handheld devices.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Driver's license preferred.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
