Inventory Specialist

About the role

The Inventory Specialist will manage the inventory of all vehicles at Copart's facilities, ensuring timely processing and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Document vehicle condition using company-provided tools and complete inventories with supporting photographs.
• Direct traffic flow in the receiving area to facilitate efficient processing of vehicle inventory.
• Facilitate the Copart experience by addressing customer needs through a thorough understanding of company policy.
• Maintain and organize the receiving area.
• Operate camera and handheld inventory devices to process incoming vehicles.
• Determine the operational capability of motor vehicles.
• Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of all materials used.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency, including operation of handheld devices.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Some college coursework or relevant experience.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.29 per hour
