Inventory Specialist - 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities

  • Track incoming and outgoing products and updating the database accordingly.
  • Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting).
  • Inspect and define disposition guidelines of returned products to be re-entered into inventory.
  • Cook up the customer credit, refund and return process as it pertains to inventory reconciliation, communicating cross-functionally, and auditing financial impacts.
  • Audit the accuracy of product dimensions and weights captured in the current database.
  • Oversee presale inventory allocation and update the sales team with new product information.
  • Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels.
  • Provide low inventory and slow-moving inventory analysis; forecast future inventory requirements and drive visibility of available products based on defined criteria.
  • Dispose of obsolete inventory as directed.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in inventory management or a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Firm grasp of basic computer programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in mathematical and statistical methods.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on mathematical accuracy.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics.
  • Ability to complete tasks on a deadline.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Inventory Management experience a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 50+ lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, and other physical activities.
  • Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
