About the role

This temporary contractor role supports Supply Chain Operations and Returns by conducting patient field retrieval activities. The Inventory Service Associate (ISA) performs inventory management and courier duties in Toledo, OH.

Responsibilities

• Contact prescribers, caregivers, and patients to schedule return services.
• Conduct inventory management services, including cycle counts.
• Transport inventory to hospitals, patient homes, and clinics for fittings.
• Accept assignments requiring daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
• Travel to patient homes, hospitals, and healthcare facilities—including high-risk areas—to provide retrieval services.
• Assist patients in packing the Assure® system and all components.
• Review and transmit essential paperwork with patients to retrieve the Assure® garment and WCD system.
• Manage the return of inventory, including Assure® system kits, garments, and electronic equipment, by dropping off at FedEx or approved Walgreens locations.
• Coordinate and drop off retrieved equipment at Kestra’s preferred shipping partners.
• Adhere to confidentiality policies, ensuring patient information is only shared internally on a need-to-know basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a comprehensive background check following offer acceptance.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a satisfactory driving record.
• Reliable transportation and proof of motor vehicle insurance.
• Knowledge of MS Office and MS Teams.
• Preferred: DME retrieval or inventory management experience.

Work Environment

• Variable conditions during travel.
• Minimal noise typical of offices or hospitals.
• Possible exposure to infectious diseases.
• Extended hours when needed.
• Drug-free workplace; testing is a condition of contracting with Kestra.

Physical Demands

• Frequent phone and business machine use.
• Occasional bending and stooping.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted, including loading/unloading from vehicles.

Travel

• Frequent travel by car within the agreed-upon geography.

Pay

Estimated pay range: $2,800 – $3,800 per month, depending on location and experience.
