Inventory Service Associate (ISA) - Columbus, OH (1099 Contractor)

About the role

This temporary contractor role supports the Supply Chain Operations and Returns Team by conducting patient field retrieval activities and inventory management. The position is based in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

• Contact prescribers, caregivers, and patients to schedule return services.
• Perform inventory management services, including cycle counts.
• Transport inventory to hospitals, patient homes, and clinics for fittings.
• Accept assignments requiring daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
• Travel to patient homes, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities—including high-risk areas—to provide retrieval services.
• Assist patients in packing the Assure® system and all components.
• Review and transmit essential paperwork with the patient to retrieve the Assure® garment and WCD system.
• Manage the return of inventory, including Assure® system kits, garments, and electronic equipment.
• Drop off retrieved equipment at local FedEx or approved Walgreens locations, and coordinate delivery to Kestra’s preferred shipping partners.
• Adhere to the Pledge of Confidentiality: protect patient information and share it internally only on a need-to-know basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a comprehensive background check following offer of agreement.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a satisfactory driving record.
• Reliable transportation and proof of motor vehicle insurance.
• Knowledge of MS Office and MS Teams.
• Comfortable entering patient residences.
• Highly organized, service-oriented, and detail-focused.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently.
• Careful handling of Assure® system kits, garments, and electronic equipment.
• Trustworthy and compliant with all HIPAA regulations and Kestra policies.

Preferred Qualifications

• DME Retrieval experience.
• Inventory Management experience.

Travel

• Frequent travel by car within the agreed-upon geography.

Pay

Estimated pay range: $2,800 – $3,800 per month, depending on location and experience.
