Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily inventory operations for maintenance parts, tools, and supplies.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Organize inventory in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory cycle counts.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock before shortages occur.
- Create purchase orders and coordinate the procurement of maintenance parts and materials.
- Follow up with vendors regarding quotations, order confirmations, shipping status, delivery schedules, and backorders.
- Career development opportunities.
- Coordinate emergency parts orders to minimize equipment downtime.
- Research and source replacement parts from manufacturers and suppliers.
- Maintain vendor relationships and assist in obtaining competitive pricing.
- Track open purchase orders and ensure timely receipt of all materials.
- Report inventory status, shortages, purchasing activity, and key inventory metrics to management.
- Work closely with supervisors and technicians to identify upcoming parts requirements for preventive maintenance and repair projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the company's inventory and purchasing systems.
- Ensure the stockroom remains organized, properly labeled, and compliant with company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, warehouse operations, or procurement.
- Experience in industrial maintenance, aviation, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience using inventory management systems or CMMS (UpKeep experience is a plus).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong communication and vendor management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aviation maintenance inventory or industrial maintenance operations.
- Knowledge of maintenance spare parts, electrical components, bearings, motors, gearboxes, conveyor components, or airport ground support equipment.
- Experience coordinating with multiple vendors and managing purchase orders from request through delivery.
