Inventory Planner (WHL)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan inventory for assigned product lines. This responsibility includes forecasting, setting replenishment criteria, purchasing, and distributing inventory through the service center network.
• Set up new items including bills of material and the warehouse management system.
• Work with the service center teams to troubleshoot inventory, picking, and receiving issues.
• Expedite with suppliers and manufacturing sites.
• Collaborate with manufacturing sites to optimize the replenishment process.
• Support customer service team to meet customer needs.
• Work with sales team on stocking programs, product introductions, and product end of life.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of pertinent work experience (supply chain and logistics preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree required
• ASCM Certification preferred
• Strong planning and organizational skills with an ability to handle a multitude of tasks.
• Self-motivated to learn with a desire and talent to advance professionally.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High standards of integrity required.
• Willing to travel as needed.
• Proficient in MS Excel
• ERP experience required. QAD experience is a major plus.
