Inventory Planner
What's the Job?
Own end-to-end material planning and execution for assigned product categories to support service operations and maximize fleet uptime.
Manage the complete purchase order lifecycle, including PO creation, supplier confirmations, shipment tracking, inbound receipt reconciliation, and resolution of discrepancies between orders, shipments, and receipt.
Coincide with inbound transportation with suppliers and logistics providers, proactively resolving transportation delays and delivery issues.
Monitor inventory levels, demand signals, and service requirements to proactively drive replenishment strategies and maintain target inventory levels across service locations.
Ensure material availability by identifying supply risks, addressing shortages, and coordinating corrective actions to prevent service disruptions.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field of study is preferred.
- 6 to 8 years of professional experience in logistics, inventory management, or material and supply chain planning.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities with a proven ability to mitigate risks and manage multiple priorities in high-velocity environments.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP platforms and leveraging data to drive strategic inventory decisions.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze large datasets, build reports, and use data to drive inventory and supply decisions.
