As a member of the Pasco team, the Inventory Clerk will be a partner in Engineering Operations.
What You Will Do
- Physically receive parts into the plant: When a package or freight is delivered by UPS, FedEx, Truck Freight or City Courier, verify bill of lading and sign for all packages. Perform Oracle receiving.
- Verify shipments to packing slips: Open delivered packages. Locate packing slip; if absent, contact supplier for proper documentation. Verify part number, quantity shipped, description, and purchase order number against the part itself. Notify plant buyer of discrepancies. Mechanics should never open packages and take items they need. If no packing slip is present, fill out a missing receipt affidavit. Receive into EAM and Oracle the day parts are physically received per corporate policies.
- Match packing slip to 11i purchase order: Match packing slip to printed 11i purchase order, circle what has been received, and give updated 11i PO to buyer for receiving into 11i system. Look up 11i PO number and corresponding EAM PO in EAM system and approve the EAM PO. Print and review the open PO report before receiving items (lists stock vs. work order and assignment). Create a PO Receipt for delivered and verified parts. All parts must be received into the system the day they arrive.
- Put inventory parts on shelf: Place parts on shelf according to bin location corresponding to the part. Perform daily.
- Critical spare inventory parts picker and kit building and tracking: Involved with picking orders for PM's and building kits for PM's.
- Distribute work order parts to mechanic shelf: Put parts on kitted shelf with a note displaying the work order number. Use open PO report for work order number and assigned mechanic; contact buyer or planner scheduler if no assigned name.
- Physical inventory: Perform weekly physical inventories. Complete one full inventory per year (corporate mandate). Perform quarterly inventories per critical spares corporate timeline. Follow SOP for critical spares inventory. Upon completion, print physical inventory discrepancy report, attach to count sheets, present to Maintenance manager, and obtain signature.
