Inventory Material Review Board Supervisor - Electrode

Responsibilities

  • Inventory/Material Review Board Supervisor
  • Evaluate discrepancies and possible impact of production, processing, reliability, and obligation to customers
  • Understand actions needed to be taken on affected areas and instructions related to the issue or nonconformance
  • Track material flow throughout the various processes and inventory locations
  • Conduct and organize periodic physical counts
  • Cook
  • Coordinate abnormal scrap analysis and disposition and request approval by management
  • Synchronize material management with support teams
  • Create NCR (Non-Conforming Reports)
  • Perform MES (Manufacture Execution System) submissions and approvals for SAP
  • Confirm registrations in MES and correct if incorrect
  • Perform forensic investigation of material flows: e.g., misplacements, on-hold status, and outflows
  • Maintain the MRB (Material Review Board) files and conduct weekly reviews with management
  • Lead activities during inventory days and publish discrepancy reports as needed
  • Support production as required

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of progressive manufacturing/operations experience in a high pace/high volume manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail oriented
  • Extensive knowledge of MRP systems
  • Leverage Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt desirable with continuous process improvement experience
  • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Extensive knowledge of ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems)
  • Extensive knowledge of MES preferred
  • Firsthand knowledge of material flow within the manufacturing processes preferred
  • Leverage Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is ideal
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against production deadlines and goals
  • An appreciation of and an ability to positively resolve issues arising from different cultures
  • Resilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure

  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook) preferred
