Inventory Manager
Position Summary
The Inventory Manager is responsible for the seamless flow of materials and equipment that power world-class productions. From planning and procurement to logistics and leadership, this role ensures our inventory systems are proactive, precise, and primed for every show.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and lead inventory strategies aligned with event timelines and client requirements.
Forecast needs using historical data, project specs, and input from cross-functional teams.
Source and purchase inventory items, negotiating terms with vendors to ensure value and reliability.
Cultivate long-term vendor relationships to secure timely, quality inventory deliveries.
Maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory management system.
Monitor stock levels and movement to avoid shortages or overages.
Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits with accurate reconciliation.
Implement organized storage solutions that maximize space and efficiency.
Ensure quality control procedures protect inventory condition and performance.
Partner with operations teams to coordinate dispatch and return of inventory to/from event sites.
Manage delivery timelines, transportation logistics, and rental tracking.
Support the warehouse team in optimizing movement, staging, and storage of items.
Provide hands-on training, mentoring, and constructive feedback.
Maintain a positive, solutions-oriented team culture rooted in mutual respect.
Host regular team huddles to share updates, address challenges, and foster collaboration.
Deliver timely reports on inventory levels, turnover, usage, and costs.
Use inventory data to forecast demand, reduce waste, and support purchasing decisions.
Work with finance to ensure accurate valuation and cost tracking.
Identify areas for operational improvement and cost savings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., Asset Panda, NetSuite, etc.).
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
Clear communicator and effective collaborator.

Qualifications & Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
3+ years in inventory or warehouse management, ideally within events, logistics, or hospitality.
Familiarity with event infrastructure and equipment is a strong plus.
