About the role
The Inventory Support role at L3Harris is a highly developed support individual position. This role involves working autonomously, mentoring lower level peers, and providing guidance on tasks. Responsibilities include coordinating, processing, and controlling all material storage and movement in and out of material stores, unpacking received materials, ensuring proper storage, and updating the MRP system. It also includes selecting and issuing materials to the production floor according to production requirements and operation packets, operating necessary equipment, and managing forklift or transporter operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, process, and control all material storage and movement in and out of material stores
- Interface with other departments as required to ensure efficient material flow
- Unpack received materials and ensure proper storage, updating the MRP system
- Select and issue materials to the production floor according to production requirements and operation packets
- Operate necessary equipment to handle, protect, and deliver government material
- Operate forklift or transporter to receive, deliver, and pick up stock and parts or assemblies
- Exercise driving and handling precautions beyond normal driving and handling
- Provide input into new processes, standards, and/or operational plans that will have measurable impact on the achievement of overall function or business results
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associate's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance
- Working knowledge of how Stores/Material departments operate and knowledge of how Shipping and Receiving operates
- Knowledge of warehouse control, inventory control, and related duties
- Ability to analyze information gathered to identify potential problems or discrepancies
Qualifications

- Knowledge of MRP/ERP and Advance Planning tools such as SAP
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite of products
- Forklift Certification

Pay
The salary range for this role is $51,000 - $95,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
