Inventory Management Attendant

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Brandon, MS—offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. Warehouse positions pay weekly at $17.91 per hour. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment.

Schedule

First Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the workload is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve any problems with the day's orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years warehouse experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Working knowledge of WMS systems
• Forklift experience
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location
• Must have a clean driving record and a personal vehicle and travel within the area approximately 25–50% of the day
• Strong technical aptitude which includes using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners, and entering orders into a WMS System
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Must be able to work both indoors and outside
