Responsibilities
- Execute inventory management operations, including conducting physical and cyclic inventory counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and documenting findings in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform inventory audits and investigations using approved audit, causative research, and material pre-adjustment methods to identify root causes of inventory variances and support corrective actions.
- Apply knowledge of inventory functions, operational requirements, and work methods to ensure accuracy, accountability, and integrity of inventory records.
- Utilize automated inventory or logistics systems to track inventory levels, record transactions, and support inventory adjustment processes.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of warehousing storage management plans and accepted warehousing methods to support efficient inventory storage and control.
- Support inventory operations impacted by material receiving, inspection, storage, handling, and movement activities.
- Operate material handling equipment to receive, store, move, and issue medical equipment, supplies, and furniture in support of inventory and warehouse operations.
- Apply knowledge of material support programs to ensure inventory accuracy and availability in support of operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to inventory counts, audits, adjustments, and material movement.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management in support of inventory control and warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in inventory operations that include execution of inventory counts, reconciliation of findings, investigation/audit methods for inventory programs, material pre-adjustment and causative research methods, and operation of various material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of overall warehousing storage management plan and accepted warehousing methods.
- Knowledge of inventory functions, operations, program requirements and work methods.
- Knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures, material handling techniques and of activities such as material receiving and material storage impacting inventory operations.
- Knowledge of programs utilized in providing material support.
- A valid driver's license to drive up to a 1.5-ton stake bed truck and 4-6K forklifts for the delivery of medical equipment, supplies, and furniture.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and maintain attention to detail in an operational environment.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

- Sometimes required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
