Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused team member to support our fast-paced, hands-on environment. This role combines the precision of warehouse work with the relationship-building of customer service.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide insightful, accurate, detailed information to our customers' questions or problems.
- Efficiently collect requested material from the shelves, ensuring it correctly aligns with the customer's application and order.
- Receives incoming materials, checking packing slips against actual merchandise received. Inspects materials for obvious defects, solving related problems and notifying supervisor as necessary.
- Stock shelves and ensure materials are in their designated area.
- Pulls materials from warehouse shelves to fill current orders. Identify correct quantity and customer specifications.
- Utilize RF guns for picking and packing. Packs and ships materials in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.
- Affords assistance with loading and unloading trucks.
- Check email and trackers daily for time-sensitive company information.
- Posts purchase orders via RF and other related data into the computer system.
- Completes two full Cycle Counts per year to maintain an accurate inventory of items and locations.
- Involves maintaining a clean, organized area.
- Work closely with all internal departments, combining individual efforts to better serve the customer.
- Performs other duties as obvious or assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 6am-3pm
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Organized with strong time management skills
- Self-motivated and self-starter
- Strong attention to detail needed
- Ability to learn our ERP system
