Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused team member to support our fast-paced, hands-on environment. This role combines the precision of warehouse work with the relationship-building of customer service.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide insightful, accurate, detailed information to our customers' questions or problems.
  • Efficiently collect requested material from the shelves, ensuring it correctly aligns with the customer's application and order.
  • Receives incoming materials, checking packing slips against actual merchandise received. Inspects materials for obvious defects, solving related problems and notifying supervisor as necessary.
  • Stock shelves and ensure materials are in their designated area.
  • Pulls materials from warehouse shelves to fill current orders. Identify correct quantity and customer specifications.
  • Utilize RF guns for picking and packing. Packs and ships materials in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.
  • Affords assistance with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Check email and trackers daily for time-sensitive company information.
  • Posts purchase orders via RF and other related data into the computer system.
  • Completes two full Cycle Counts per year to maintain an accurate inventory of items and locations.
  • Involves maintaining a clean, organized area.
  • Work closely with all internal departments, combining individual efforts to better serve the customer.
  • Performs other duties as obvious or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 6am-3pm
  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Organized with strong time management skills
  • Self-motivated and self-starter
  • Strong attention to detail needed
  • Ability to learn our ERP system
