Inventory Coordinator

About the team
The Yard Operations team conducts hundreds of live auctions each year around the world. It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full-time and part-time roles to conduct a successful multi-million dollar auction—from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Joint Inventory with the Auction Coordinator and government staff for government shipments
- Perform basic inspections of inventory items, creating inspection reports by photographing the equipment and overall condition
- Verify key equipment data (serial number / VIN, hours / miles, machine-level and / or emission-related certifications, etc.) for typos and other inaccuracies
- Lot and classify inventory to be put into an organized system for later retrieval
- Determine the best option of available sales channels to maximize returns for the company
- Determine ideal quantity for grouping items into lots and pricing with the proprietary system
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience preferred
