About the role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Inventory Coordinator will perform cycle counts and monthly inventory as needed. The role involves verifying and maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments, arranging for the transportation of products, and ensuring accurate inventory tracking using RF Scanners. The ideal candidate will work independently, stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day, and handle physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Forklift certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Receive inbound loads with an RF Scan gun.
- Conduct cycle counts of bulk, finished products, and packaging materials using RF Scanners.
- Verify inbound documents to ensure received product is accurate.
- Serve as a back-up shipping clerk, including checking inbound and outbound trucks, scheduling appointments, and closing orders.
- Assist in packaging as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned, with responsibilities subject to change based on business needs.
Requirements
- No formal education required.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience desired.
- Ability to work independently and use RF Scanners for inventory tracking.
- Willingness to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
- Capability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Dependability, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
