About the role
Follow GMP's and safety guidelines. Updating inventory counts and maintaining inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business.
Responsibilities
- Maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
- Daily cycle counts to insure accurate inventory levels.
- Notify Inventory Manager with shortages and inconsistencies.
- Operate equipment according to training provided. Maintain a safety while using equipment and tools.
- Cooperate with peers, managers, and operations personnel and act as a liaison between other employees and departments when it comes to physical inventory or parts and supplies.
- Provides ERP system support to cross functional team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Preferred food manufacturing environment
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) experience preferred
- Able to work with positive attitude in a high stress environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Strong Computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to drive equipment (stand up/sit down forklift, reach truck, etc.)
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends per business needs
Pay
The pay for this role in the state of NJ is $21/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
