We're seeking an Inventory Coordinator to play a vital role in managing the lifecycle of specialized measuring and test equipment used across critical operational teams. In this position, you'll serve as the central point of coordination between customers, vendors, and laboratory personnel, ensuring equipment is received, tracked, calibrated, repaired, and returned efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with backgrounds in inventory management, logistics, warehouse operations, asset management, maintenance coordination, customer service, or supply chain operations who enjoy solving problems and keeping processes running smoothly. You'll gain exposure to equipment lifecycle management, operational reporting, vendor coordination, and customer support while making a direct impact on operational readiness and reliability. What You'll Do As an Inventory Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing equipment through every stage of the service process, including: Coordinating the movement of equipment through calibration and repair workflows to ensure timely completion and deliveryReceiving, inspecting, and processing incoming equipment shipmentsMaintaining accurate inventory, asset, and work order records in tracking systemsScheduling and coordinating vendor calibration and repair servicesTracking equipment status and proactively communicating updates to customers and stakeholdersPreparing equipment for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentationSupporting customer inquiries regarding equipment status, service timelines, and repairsAssisting with billing, invoicing, service documentation, and operational reportingBuilding strong partnerships with vendors, customers, and laboratory teams to resolve issues and meet service commitmentsUtilizing Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and asset-tracking systems such as IndySoftMaintaining detailed records related to inventory, repairs, shipments, calibrations, and equipment historyBalancing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a dynamic operational environmentSupporting shipping and receiving activities, including occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 poundsHelping ensure critical equipment remains operational, compliant, and ready when needed What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Experience supporting inventory, logistics, warehouse, service, maintenance, or operational processesShipping and receiving experience, including tracking equipment, materials, or assetsStrong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detailExperience maintaining accurate records, documentation, and data entryCustomer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and WordExperience using inventory, asset tracking, work order, shipping, or service management systemsAbility to perform occasional physical work, including handling equipment and lifting up to 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications Experience with IndySoft or similar inventory, asset management, or tracking platformsAsset lifecycle management, repair coordination, or vendor management experienceBilling, invoicing, or operational reporting experienceBackground in manufacturing, utilities, fleet operations, maintenance, warehouse operations, or supply chain environmentsMaterials management or inventory control experienceExperience coordinating customer-owned equipment through repair, maintenance, calibration, or service programsFamiliarity with metrology, calibration, laboratory operations, or technical service environments Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Juliette, GA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
