Full-time position on the 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday) with overtime as required.

Responsibilities

Production Support

  • Coordinate product and packaging material inventory use.
  • Perform inventory audits and cycle counts as required.
  • Problem-solve and communicate inventory issues to customers, vendors, and Production Planner.
  • Coordinate product recoup operations.
  • Backfill on production lines as needed.

Safety

  • Follow established Dock Safety policy.
  • Complete Motorized Equipment Daily Inspection sheet.
  • Report equipment malfunctions immediately.
  • Wear required PPE.
  • Adhere to safety and security policies and SOPs.

Quality

  • Collect samples when requested by customers.
  • Work with Production Planner to coordinate packaging material changes.
  • Resolve quality issues with customers, vendors, and Production Planner.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and customer work instructions.
  • Experience or willingness to train in Food Safety.

Initiative

  • Interface directly with customers; maintain professional and courteous relationships.
  • Respond to customer requests within an hour; provide estimated completion times.
  • Escalate customer complaints to management immediately.

Food Safety & Quality

  • Follow food safety SOPs and AIB standards.
  • Experience or willingness to train in Food Safety.

Requirements

  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, WMS, data entry, document scanning, basic office skills).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic arithmetic, reading, and writing skills.
  • Ability to understand production schedules.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in Inventory Control.
  • Experience with inventory reconciliation and audits for outbound shipments.
  • Self-starter; ability to work independently or in a group.
  • Direct interface with customers on inventory adjustments.

Pay

Up to $23.00/hour.

Schedule

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday (overtime as required).
