Inventory Control Tech
About the Role
Compile and maintain records of physical and virtual product inventories via daily activities of cycle counting, claims management, and accounts administration within the facility. Manage data concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping products for/from the facility. Order shipping materials, supplies, and equipment to maintain inventory throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and verify incoming shipments for correct quantity and product type
- Process inbound and outbound orders safely and accurately
- Record and track materials received, stored, and distributed within the facility
- Weigh, count, and inspect products to ensure they meet company quality standards
- Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, and shipping records
- Compile and review information from purchase orders, invoices, and reports
- Monitor stock levels and identify when inventory needs replenishment
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
- Investigate and report damages, discrepancies, or inventory adjustments
- Verify product IDs, pallet IDs, and stock numbers to ensure accurate shipments
- Organize and stage materials to support efficient warehouse operations
- Operate warehouse material handling equipment while following all safety policies
- Operate warehouse material handling equipment to move product while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory management, quality control, or related warehouse operations
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in the facility’s primary language
- Basic math and computer skills required
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in an ambient warehouse environment (temperatures may reach up to ~100°F depending on the season)
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull at least 40 lbs regularly
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime if needed
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying noise levels
Pay
$22.50/hr (Pay Range: $17.79 - $30.05)
Schedule
2nd Shift: 6PM - 2:30AM (weekends required)
