Inventory Control Specialist - Williamsport, MD

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily routine inventory cycle counting tasks.
  • Recommends changes on inventory counts to the warehouse supervisor.
  • Processes any changes necessary and approved.
  • Supports system training needs for shift employees responsible for inventory movement.
  • Works closely with supervisor to facilitate timely and efficient inventory movement.
  • Provides daily operational inventory system reports from Triceps Inventory Management Systems.
  • Processes random weight and/or produce orders as required to facilitate inventory counts and shipping practices.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency using computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • One year experience in warehouse inventory control systems or related equivalent.
  • Certification in operation of power equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a multitask environment.
  • Positive work history including safety and attendance.
  • Able to handle fast paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills.
  • Attention to detail and analytically driven.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, squat, turn, reach, pull, push, balance and lift objects up to 85 pounds, in a fast-paced environment for extended period of time.
  • Must be able to transport various objects weighing 20-85 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Must have the ability to stand, walk and move about for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to stand and balance throughout the shift while operating industrial equipment.
  • Requires the ability to push, pull, grasp, twist and use sawing motions for extended periods of time.
  • Required to pass physical capacity test at 100%.

Physical Requirements
