Inventory Control Specialist II

About the Role

The Inventory Control Specialist II is responsible for accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made, managing and maintaining the inventory system, and conducting frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.

Responsibilities

• Assesses inventory reports and provides them to procurement and management.
• Manages inventory, including pulling short-dates, handling damaged inventory, product disposition, and vendor returns.
• Implements and maintains processes and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Resolves inventory issues and highlights potential issues or opportunities to management.
• Ensures Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics are maintained and reported monthly.
• Works across teams to coordinate and complete cycle counts.
• Engages with customer service operations to resolve customer delivery product discrepancies.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
• Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
• Performs other related duties or functions as requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five or more years of experience in Inventory Control, along with computerized inventory systems.
• Experience using an RF Gun.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Pay

$20 per hour
